The film is a portrait of three Germans, each of which is involved in a different way with the lives and culture of North American Indians. Charly and Marlene are members of a group called The Prairie Friends of Cologne. Club members spend romantic weekends together and organize big meetings where they practice an Indian lifestyle. In their spare time they make costumes and teepees.
